Little Man Tate have pulled this weekend’s festival appearances, thanks to an unprovoked attack that ended with a fractured jaw for singer Jon Windle. The band were out in Brighton on Wednesday night (July 9), celebrating signing to new label Skint, when Windle was set upon by a group of troublemakers. “They badly cut up one of his eyes and fractured his jaw,” said the band’s spokesman.
With Windle requiring multiple stitches and a metal plate in his mouth, the group have had to pull out of their slots at Oxegen on Saturday and T In The Park on Sunday. “They are really gutted,” says the spokesman.
