Lostprophets have apologised for the late arrival of guitarist Lee Gaze at last weekend's V Festival in Staffordshire. It turns out he had a pressing appointment.
"[We] want to thank all of their fans - old and new - for supporting them at V Festival in Chelmsford and Stafford this weekend," the band say in a statement. "[Lee] was at a nearby hospital with his heavily pregnant wife and dashed to the festival site as soon as he was able to play the last few songs. Everything is fine with all the family."
