No Charges In Winehouse Punch Fracas
The fan who was elbowed by the singer isn't going to press charges... but he managed to get the incident on camera.
The man who was on the receiving end of Amy Winehouse's "punch" during her Glastonbury set on Saturday night won't be pressing charges. James Gostelow was elbowed in the head by the singer after someone apparently "touched her boob".
However, 25-year-old Gostelow claims that the incident was sparked by someone interfering with the star's impressive coiffure. "I saw a hat being thrown from behind me and it hit Amy's beehive," James told the BBC. "She looked down, saw me looking up, and her elbow went for me."
However, he has no intention of making an official complaint. "At the end of the day it is all part of being at the front and being pushed by thousands of people. It is all part of the Glastonbury experience. Not everyone can say they have been hit by Amy Winehouse."
