Xfm Recommends - Glastonbury
We pick a mere trio of acts that you shouldn't overlook this weekend.
Friday - Santogold
Santi White has scored one of 2008's top choons with 'L.E.S. Artistes" and her eponymous debut album is bound to make many end-of-year lists. Sounding like Karen O of Yeah Yeah Yeahs with a hip hot backing, make sure you catch her set at The Park on Friday evening.
Saturday - Elbow
What more can we say about Elbow? Swooning, romantic, delirious and moving... Guy Garvey's delicate voice will fill your heart and have you blubbing into your scrumpy, as he takes us through the new album 'Seldom Seen Kid' and a host of classic moments.
Sunday - The Whip
John Peel Stage, early afternoon. You need to be there to witness The Whip, four lads from Manchester who take the bleeps of acid, slap on some Kasabian 'tude and mix it up with a few beats from an old drum machine they've obviously found in a second hand shop. There's always been a dance element to their music - obviously.
