Xfm Uploaded Winners To Play Wakestock
The winners of Xfm's Uploaded contest - as heard on Steve Harris' utterly splendid Music:Response show - will secure themselves opening slots at this year's Wakestock festival. And you can choose who they are.
As reported yesterday, Xfm - your favourite radio station - is set to sponsor the Main Tent at this year's Wakestock Festival. Now in its ninth year, Wakestock takes place in the somewhat sumptuous environs of Oxfordshire's Blenheim Palace and will take place June 27 - 29 with line-up that includes Friendly Fires, Metronomy, The Dykeenies, Hadouken!, The Streets and Groove Armada.
Now, thanks to the power of Xfm, the winners of the next three Uploaded features on Steve Harris' Music:Response show (7-10pm Mon-Thurs) will open the line-up in the Main Tent. But we need your help: which of the bands should go thorugh? This week's closely fought contest is between Redroots, 7 Dollar Taxi and Kick Box Riot.
