Xfm At Wakestock
Xfm - otherwise known as your favourite radio station - is delighted, honoured and indeed thrilled to be sponsoring the Main Tent at the Wakestock Festival. And, as you'd expect from the mighty X, the line-up is pretty mint.
Now in its ninth year, Wakestock takes place at Abersoch in North Wales from July 4 - 6. The line-up also includes Friendly Fires, Metronomy, The Dykeenies, Hadouken!, The Streets and Groove Armada.
For the first time, organisers have added a second date in a new location. This will take place in the somewhat sumptuous environs of Oxfordshire's Blenheim Palace and will take place June 27 - 29.
Also included amidst the music and camping facilities will be wakeboarding (see how they got the name?) exhibitons as well as a variety of on and off-water entertainment.
For the uninitiated, wakeboarding is the practice of riding a surfboard whilst being pulled along by a speedboat. Festival goers can expect all the best that the sport has to offer.
