Best known as the frontman of The Killers, Brandon Flowers announced his solo career plans in April 2010. His debut solo record Flamingo was released in September 2010. It reflects a more personal side to Flowers' songwriting, and a more atmospheric and synth-driven direction than the indie-rock base of The Killers' signature sound.
