Ex-Catatonia lead singer, Cerys Matthews, left the band in 2001 reportedly due to exhaustion and anxiety. Prior to her departure the band had hits with 'Road Rage' and 'Mulder And Scully' taken from the number one album 'International Velvet'. After relocating to Nashville, USA, Cerys has since 'found herself' and embarked on a solo career.
