Singer songwriter Luke Haines has enjoyed 20 years of musical success as part of the bands The Auteurs and Black Box Recorder, as well as releasing solo material. As an outspoken performer, Haines has in the past called for a National Pop Strike, as well as being a vociferous critic of Britpop, a movement he himself helped create.
