Echo and the Bunnymen O2 Academy Oxford

The Liverpudian indie band formed in 1978 and initially scored top ten hits with 'The Cutter' and 'The Killing Moon'. Ian McCulloch left the band in 1988 whilst Pete de Freitas was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident the following year. After line-up changes and more departures, the group reformed in 1996 with just Ian McCulloch and Will Sergeant.
