Modest Mouse O2 ABC Glasgow

Indie-rock band Modest Mouse formed in Washington in 1993 and after constant touring and under-the-radar releases, won mainstream attention and a major label record deal in 2000. Despite createing a huge buzz on the alternative scene, Modest Mouse can count teen drama The OC as a significant factor in their success, having been featured on the popular soundtrack and even appearing in the show itself. Modest Mouse blew their indie credentials through the roof in 2006 when ex-The Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr joined the band for a brief period, before being replaced by Jim Fairchild of Grandaddy fame.
