The cuddly sibblings have seen their eponymous indie debut album go platinum and have been voted best new band by Mojo magazine. The Magic Numbers are renowned for their jangly indie sound and in honour of this they were among the 2006 Brit nominations for best British Breakthrough Act and were also nominated for a Mercury Music Prize.
