British Sea Power The Caves, Edinburgh

British Sea Power are a six-piece band based in Brighton. They play emphatically melodic guitar pop mixed with angular British indie rock. The group originally formed in 2000 and released their first album, The Decline of British Sea Power, in 2001 to critical acclaim. Following numerous national tours and appearances at festivals such as Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds, T in the Park and Bestival, the band scored their first top 10 album in 2009 with Do You Like Rock Music?.
