David Cronenberg's Wife + Arcs Of Red + Rebel Jane + I-Koma Monto Water Rats Theatre, London

David Cronenberg's Wife: Critics' Choice (Rock and Pop) Top Ten: 4. David Cronenberg's Wife: 'Morally Outrageous backwoods folk' singer leads this excellent regular anti-folk session. Arcs Of Red: Arcs of Red are influenced by everything around them - music in the mainstream, 'underground' music, relationships, friends, current affairs - and write and rehearse in a warehouse in Surrey that feels like a home. Their song 'The Spell' was recently used on BBC1 show 'Spooks' and they once described their sound as 'like sitting by a river in Cornwall with all your friends as the sun sets'. Rebel Jane: Rebel Jane are a haunting, emotive blend of provocative lyrics and eery melodies with Cameron's falsetto vocals lending a yearning, lost, last-man-on-earth quality to the music." Jade Cunningham. I-Koma: Brighton based four piece I-Koma are set to be the kings of dirty sleaze rock without the drawback's of 80's glam. After rigorous 3 years of toilet tours and a number of UK festival appearances they set the standard for rock bands of the 21st century. To date I-Koma have played a number of shows with Feeder, The Zutons, The Automatic and The Kooks.
